Wwyd about day out?

I’m autistic, so I feel like following rules is something that should be done.
We are due to go for a day out 2.5 hours away tomorrow.
My youngest came down at midnight with a sickness, stopped being sick this morning, has slept on and off and not eaten but seems happier. It’s a big attraction run by Merlin but tickets are non refundable and non transferable, it’s a lot of money to lose and I’m not sure we could afford another day out.
Family members are telling me to still go, but I don’t think it’s right. What would you do?

I wouldn’t take an unwell child out in public as much as it’s unfair to others it’s unfair to them. If they haven’t had any sickness or diarrhoea and are completely themselves in the morning I’d consider it, but honestly probably would sack it off. If you have other children then one parent and other child goes.

Please don't take a vomiting child out in public.

If they’d perked up, they’d eaten and kept it down. I’d still go.
you’ll get to the park over 24hrs since the illness had passed

If it's been 24 hours since the last spell of sickness when you arrive, I would still go. If the child is feeling well in themselves, and all other family members are well.
