I don’t follow anything in particular on TikTok so my FYP page is always a bit on the random side but over the last few days I’m getting a lot of:
Bama Rush - girls at the University of Alabama ‘rushing’ sororities to try and get membership to one of them. I’ve no idea what’s going on but they’re very blonde and wearing very fancy dresses!
Scottish back to school - both parents talking about their kids starting primary and teenagers doing ‘get ready with me for my first day of S1, S2 etc. the amount of makeup is terrifying (even if they are much better at it than I was then or am now!)
Black Scottish TikTok - Americans have just discovered that black people do actually live in Scotland and that many of them have Scottish accents. Their minds are blown.
And my personal favourite, the midwife who does pelvic floor exercises to music. She lifts her hand up for squeeze and lowers it to release. I don’t know how the algorithm knew I needed to see that but I’m glad it does.
