When do you receive relevant paperwork and land registry deeds after paying off your mortgage

We paid our mortgage off two weeks ago and still haven't received any letters at all. I'm slightly concerned. I tried calling Barclays today but I was waiting for over two hours before I hung up.

@Terracottafarmers

From Barclays site

We’ll release the charge held on your property within 30 days of your mortgage being completed.

You’ll receive a deed letter with the charge release confirmation, which you should sign and return to us, confirming where the deeds should be sent to.

I don’t think I got anything when I paid off my mortgage some years ago as the deeds etc are all online now - no paper copies.

We did same, a few weeks later we had a glut of letters from them (about 8 in total!) about it.
You won’t get a copy of your land registration certificate but you can apply to HMLR for a copy.
if your property wasn’t registered when you bought it Barclays may hold some deeds and will return these.

Side note, it's a useful thing to set up an alert on the Land Registry regarding your property (it's free). You'll get a notification when Barclays have registered that the mortgage is completed, and also if anyone tries to raise a mortgage or charge against the property in future.

I downloaded the relevant documents from the LR once all the mortgage admin was done, as pp have said, there may not be paper deeds.
