I’ve had three wisdom teeth out. Only one was a bit of a problem (so far to the back of my mouth dentist found it hard to get a proper grip). The other two came out really easily and quickly. Healed up nicely, no problems. It wasn’t really any different from having any other teeth out except for having to open your mouth really really wide!

Good luck, you’ll be fine x

Had mine done last year, felt fine after, had ice cream and soup for about a week, within 2 weeks was healing really well.
I had panicked about it and put it off for years, so glad I did it as I was having multiple infections a year around the gums because of them, now they are in the past and I certainly havent missed them.
good luck!

Thank you, that’s really positive to hear! I’m going on holiday in 3 weeks time and I’m praying I will be healed by then! Mine are also causing me awful infections so I know it will benefit me in the long run

I had all 4 removed at my dentist with the "gum numb" injections. No problems at all. 👍😉

Just had an injection. Didn't feel a thing.

I had my two lower wisdom teeth taken out by my dentist in one appointment. I really can't remember having any issues, and I don't think it took me long at all to be eating normally - days rather than weeks, I'm sure. I was back at work the next day, to give you an idea of how untroublesome it was.

The only real memory I have of it was the dentist putting her knee into my neck to hold my head still when she was struggling to wiggle one of the teeth loose. It was a bit more physical than I'd expected 😄

I had my upper wisdom tooth out yesterday. Didn’t feel pain during at all, just a bit of pulling. It was over fairly quickly too. But it was quite sore for a few hours after so stock up on paracetamol and ibuprofen. I’m fine today, just a bit tender and I’m eating soft food with no problems. You’ll be fine!

I've had 2 out under the normal local injection
No real pain, just the sort of discomfort you might expect after. Can't remember any difficulty eating or drinking after the first day
You' ll be fine

Thank you everyone, reading all of your experiences is definitely making me feel a lot better about it, I think it will be a huge relief once it’s out and no more infections hopefully 🤞
