Are there bugs going around?

I felt really sick on Monday night. I hadn't been eating properly as I was out and about and did eat crap actually. 4 milkshakes (not all in one go) and a flapjack. I also had a bit of the runs. That was it for the day. I blamed the milkshakes.

Felt fine yesterday morning, ate as normal (yogurt and fruit for breakfast, orange juice and sandwich for lunch, Turkish Delight and small chocolate bar mid afternoon. Felt fine.

Last night ate fish and chips and I felt really queasy afterwards. Feel like a bit of a fizzy tummy but no runs thank God.

Today I woke up feeling queasy but felt I needed to eat so had plain toast and Marmite and orange juice. No lunch as I feel really queasy but don't actually want to be sick, but I also have a headache.

Is this something doing the rounds does anyone know? I feel rubbish.

I can't face a milkshake.

Probably food poisoning but COVID can also present primarily as gastro symptoms. And COVID is definitely doing the rounds.

Wouldn't eat heavy greasy food like fish and chips when not feeling right. Make sure to stay properly hydrated, take electrolytes if needed and boiled sweets to give you some energy.

I’ve got the same and it’s lasting forever

We've all had something here. DC3 was off her food and slept from 5pm onwards last Wednesday, laid on the sofa for a day and recovered by Friday. DC2 woke me up early hours Saturday with a tummy ache and was sick a few times, laid on the sofa all day but had picked up by Sunday. Today I've woken up with a fizzy tummy, feeling very lethargic and just not right at all. Nauseous, no appetite and exhausted. Maybe I need a sofa day to recuperate?

So far DC1 and DP seem to be okay. No reports from anyone we've been around before the kids got poorly either so seems to just be us?

It sounds a bit like heatstroke.
