I know it is very naive to think young people have never done violent/destructive behaviour before, but it is quite alarming to see these news stories within 24 hours of each other. There are some glaring historic examples, but the arson, for example, isn't even hugely reported. It is summer holidays, and some will claim social media, but am I being overdramatic/anxious about two such incidents in such a short timeline? There was the other awful case with the poor elderly gentleman assaulted by teenagers last year, who died.
