I recently saw something where people were saying that there are so brilliant M and S own brand items that are as good if not better than big brands and I can’t find it! I think one might have been ketchup? Anyhow what M and S own brands are must buys for you that are as good as bigger brands?

M&S Jaffa cakes are so much better than McVities

The gluten free things are mostly better than the leading brands. Except croissants and danish pastries. They could improve their labelling on naturally or accidentally gluten free foods eg some of the count on us dinners - Cook brand knocks spots off everyone else for clarity of labelling

Definitely the ketchup and it’s only £1!

Shampoo and conditioner, £4 each and terrific quality.

I buy M&S own brand items like baked beans, tomatoes, ketchup, lots of canned goods when I think about it, tuna and mackerel. Corned beef is lean, soups are nice and I buy their flavoured t bags.
Just looked in pantry and there is Marks jam, pickles, passata and laundry stuff so buy lots of their own brand goods.
