Recommend me a mystery

Credits on Audible are mounting up and I could really do with a good murder mystery. I like a series of books (better value) but I’m currently on Inspector Alan Grant by Josephine Tey and it’s not quite grabbing me.

got a ton of ironing to do so a good audio book will keep me going!! All suggestions gratefully appreciated.

Have you tried the Strike books? The audible versions with Robert Glenister narrating are excellent.

I love Elly Griffiths’ Ruth Galloway series, also Jane Casey’s Maeve Kerrigan books.

If you like Golden Age style mysteries then the Heathcliff Lennox books by Karen Baugh Menuhin are available on Audible.

Janice turner in The Times recommended Peter Grainger series on Kindle. About 11 of them. I took the second one to get into them properly but I’m now gripped. Not sure if they are Audible though sorry.

The first one is called The Cuckoo’s Calling. It’s not the best one but it sets the scene. After that they just keep getting better Smile
