Have you bought a good book at an airport recently?

I’m excited about my holiday and want to buy a book at the airport. I’ve been trying to get back into reading but I only seem to read on holiday these days.
What did you buy for a recent holiday that was good?

Not quite the same but I recently had a long wait at the hospital. I bought Swept Away by Beth O'Leary just for the occasion and it hit the spot.

Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry I also enjoyed.

The new neighbours by Claire Douglas. It’s an easy read, I’m halfway through it on day 1 because I’m enjoying it so much.

Didn’t buy at the airport but made a start on Lovely Bones on my flight home on Thursday. Very good book, even made me cry but I am hormonal! Will be finishing it this week.

I don’t want any books that will make me cry.
I don’t mind lost genres as long as it doesn’t leave me feeling sad at the end.

I’ve quite enjoyed audiobooks be Claire Douglas so I’ll look out for any by her.

Not from an airport, but The Guest List (also Lucy Foley) is brilliant for sitting by the pool. Short chapters make it really easy to pick up and put down between cocktails.

I’ve listened to the Guest List as an audiobook and it was excellent. I’ll look out for the Lisa Jewell one. Thanks.

Listen for the lie was great. It’s by Amy Tintera I read it in 2 days by the pool.
