After termination do HCG levels always drop consistently?

Or are they up and down ? I had a TFMR a month ago. Finally got a negative on Thursday but had a couple of tests left so thought I’d use them up and the line is darkening again it had gone totally negative stark white on Thursday. Does this mean there is some retained tissue ? Or is it normal for it to be up and down slightly ?

Any chance at all you could be pregnant again ? Either way, if the line keeps darkening the next couple of days, I'd ring your GP and/or see if there's an early pregnancy unit that could see you.
