Please tell me about friends or acquaintances who have had good wins with instants.
I play lottery instants online on a very modest scale. At the start of the month I put £5 into my lottery account. I then play until I lose - then stop. Repeat next month.
I always choose the best odds games. It usually follows a pattern of win for a bit but ultimate I always lose my fiver. I’m fine with that.
If I have a ‘good’ win, I leave it for a few days as I feel I’ve ‘used up’ my luck for that day .
I enjoy the little frisson of possibility every time I play, but I don’t have an addictive personality so I can be disciplined about it. I also understand odds and probability fairly well - and ultimately the house always wins.
I’ve been doing this for a while and never had a significant win. Chances are I probably never will
