Where do you “store” these?

We use those reusable sandwich bag freezer packs on a daily basis as we take our own lunch into work.

We have a few, so they can alternate being in the freezer getting frozen so they are ready and waiting to do their job and being used when they defrost over the course of the day.

Given this where would be the sensible place to “store” them?

  1. on top of the microwave
  2. in the freezer

Guess where I think is the correct place and guess where everyone else in the house thinks is the correct place.

Since on top of the freezer seems the obvious place, I’m guessing everyone else thinks they should go on top of the microwave.

This is a random question but why have you put store in quotation marks?

Hadalifeonce · 09/08/2025 10:54

Surely in the freezer ready for use.

Marmite27 · 09/08/2025 10:56

Wouldn’t you put them back in the freezer so they’re ready for next time?

I've never heard of these, do you have a link?

For me I guess they would be in the freezer, I have a similar thing with a freezable water bottle I keep in the freezer.

Or, maybe in the drawer I have that is mostly dedicated to food bags, wrap etc. Or maybe the drawer that is dedicated to tubs.

It couldn't go on top of the mw in my house, because it's in a cupboard.

We don't use those but the ice packs for the wine cooler live in the freezer. The picnic ones slot in the side of the corner cupboard.
Can you see my priorities 🤣

Screwed up, somewhere at the back of one of the many kitchen drawers.
That's where ours are.
I think. 🤔
