DH made a stir-fry this afternoon for his lunchtime snacklet. When I asked him where he got it from, he said the freezer. It wasn't til I got home and put the scrapings for the food caddy waste into the bag I keep in the freezer (as its too hot to keep it on the worktop), I realised DH had used the food caddy waste to MAKE A STIRFRY WITH. 😧😫🙄
Do I tell him or shall I keep schtum

He said 'It was nice' when I quizzed him. Added some rice wine AND soy sauce.

What’s the difference between a “lunchtime snacklet” and “lunch”?

PommieBear · 08/08/2025 18:47

There were all sorts in it - pot noodles, veg, bits of roast chicken that not even the cat wanted. Gross, but to be fair, yes looked like all sorts of stir fry bits. The only thing being, no one EVER has stir fry in this house. Never.

Lunch is something that I make. A snacklet is something thrown together as something to fill a 'hole'. 😆😆😆

That's soooo funny 😂

He still feels fine, no sickness. I feel so guilty, but, he never used to use the food waste caddy, so it's his own fault
