Does anyone have an actual tried and tested method or product to stop cats crapping in your garden? I have a cat (owner unknown) who has just started visiting my garden and shitting on my lawn. Yes I know it’s a cat as can see from my CCTV ,one day alone I had to pick up about 5 shits 😭. I love cats but really don’t want to pick up their shit or clean up after them. Every morning there is fresh shit as they come through the night. I have tried to put pepper down and also the shop bought granules but so far not worked. It’s really pissing me off and my bin stinks .

A solution of Jeyes fluid sprayed onto hard surfaces - they don’t like the smell. It’s perfectly safe once dry, and cats aren’t stupid enough to go near it when it’s wet.

We tried everything - lion poo, ultrasound, orange peel etc. None of which worked. If you have gravel then it needs to be over a certain size so it’s not comfortable for them to dig in.

i had a similar problem if its 💩 in one place then putting rose branches in a cross formation is very effective !!!! you could try cat detterent balls but make sure you keep them dry as when wet they evaporate QUICKLY but ultimately depends on the cat most will bugger off !!! but some 💩 where they want to my pal bought a spike mat she found the cat next day sleeping on it!!!! 2 fingers up to her GUD luck
