It's good but it reminds me of that Keane song Somewhere Only We Know

Tried listening to her after she was compared to David Bowie. Found her music dreadfully dull compared to bowie though and gave up.

Keane were masters of the art of inciting unseemly blubbing.

But Ms Roan does have a particularly affecting voice.

I would never have compared her to David Bowie.

Never heard of a Chappell Roan, sounds like an estate agent. Thought the name would belong to a bloke.

I’ve listed to the song in that link and that is just dreadful noise to my ears. Acoustics sound like someone singing in the bath.

Its one of those songs I'd skip on my playlist, but the atmosphere in the crowd if she played it during a gig would be something else.

Must say, I hadn’t quite grasped the extent of her Cindy Sherman-esque performance work. Previously I only knew of her as someone indescribably, gobsmackingly stylish. Very impressed.
