My next statement has just been issued and my pay in 3 amount is very high as I ordered several suits and dresses for us to try on for an event.

I am going to return them tomorrow.

Will the pay in 3 amount adjust once the returns are processed? Payment is due end of month.

Do you have until the end of August to pay? If so, I'd return the items ASAP, wait for them to be credited say middle of next week and not pay anything until the amount adjusts.

Thats what Im asking, will the amount adjust or is it just generated now for the month and thats what is expected to avoid interest?

You returns will be treated like payments to the account, so provided they go in before the bill is due, you need to pay the statement amount, less returns.
