Yes! I got my revenge. MIL ignored something which was very important for me and Dh. I didn’t show my annoyance then but hoped to somehow pay back. The situation came two months later and I didn’t need to do anything. I am the only person who could have prevented it happening but I did nothing. She must feel same as I did.

The desire for revenge, like the feeling of jealousy, are best left before they fester inside you taking the space of happiness.

My best revenge came via my dog. My old dog was never fully potty trained. If he wanted to pee, he did it.

Well, one day my FIL caught him weeing on the floor, so he put him outside and threw a cup of water on him.

When the dog was allowed back indoors (I was out at the time), he immediately went over to my FIL’s VERY EXPENSIVE sheep skin coat, and pissed all over it
