Boring thread and following on from my one yesterday.
2 weeks ago I returned a whole order to the wrong retailer. I had items from Reformation, all packaged in the Reformation packaging but accidentally returned to Abercrombie and Fitch. Basically I generated the return label for reformation and somehow it opened up a qr code. I thought at the sometime it was odd because I usually have to print the label, but these things change all the time. Anyway, the qr code is tracked to Abercrombie.
I have the proof of postage and I also have tracked the parcel. It has definitely been received at Abercrombie. They will have opened it and seen 4 brand new items from Reformation and known it was for the wrong retailer. My address label was underneath the return label, so they will have been able to identify some info from there.
I am devastated. I know that sounds ridiculous but it was £800 of items. I'm not rich, I wanted 1 nice item for an event, so I can't afford to lose it.
I have emailed Abercrombie who have basically said when they receive items from the wrong retailer, they try to send them back if located. It seems to be a standardised message.
I know it's my fault and I'm not blaming anyone else. It's just I know Abercrombie have the parcel and my information is on it, so you'd think it can be located. I've absolutely no hope.
Has anyone had this happen and managed to get their parcel back?
I'm going on holiday tomorrow and actually feeling sick with stress and not slept.
