What do you do to preserve and pass on your heritage/cultural traditions?

I am Welsh but with Scottish, English and Irish ancestry. In the last year or so I have begun to feel strongly about delving more into my ancestral culture and traditions and reading about the rich cultural history of Britian has brought me a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction. We've adopted little things here and there into our family tradions, foods we make, occasions we observe.. all kinds of things really. It's brought a lot of fun and enrichment into our family life!

I was wondering what English/Scottish/Welsh/Irish traditions you observe? Have you revived an old tradition? Do you feel there is a resurgence of people valuing these things? People of other cultures welcome to post also, I'd love to hear.
