Anyone had a boob reduction?

I’m going to get one done. Have a surgeon in mind but he’s one of the best so assuming his pricing will reflect that. If anyone has had a breast reduction can you let me know what you paid, just so when I get a quote from my chosen surgeon I know if he’s ridiculously more expensive or just a bit xx thank you xx

Hi I had a breast reduction 2 years ago and it was just under £11k. I went to one of the best in the end as it was complex surgery and for the sake of a grand I thought I’d go for one of the best and they were in manchester which was an hour away but they were good on the phone before, I’m very happy with my results and after care put my mind at rest. Would go there again.
Good luck, it’s a big decision but I literally had two big weights off my shoulders so well worth it as had back pain for years before.

I had one seven years ago. Completely life changing. Wish I’d done it far sooner. I paid £6500, though will no doubt be more now.

Thanks a lot. Gosh 11k is a lot more than I thought 😬 I was thinking around 6k 😬

You can get liposuction on the breasts which is cheaper and less invasive

Maddy70 · 05/08/2025 10:35

I'm having it on one side. I had a mastectomy on the other and they will do a boob job on that one and a reduction on the other. I can't wait. Did you have to have drains in with a reduction?

CherryogDog · 05/08/2025 10:55

@Christmasbear1 have you had the liposuction?
I want a reduction but can't afford it.
I had a DIEP reconstruction using belly fat but I've put on weight, and belly fat gets fatter, no matter where it is.

3bluellamas · 05/08/2025 10:58

I'm about to have one in 5 weeks' time. I'm in the midlands and my surgeon is also based there. It's just over £12,500. With fat transfer (mine are a bit uneven) its just over £15k.

On top of that its £200 for the initial consultation

Hi there, I had one last year. It was around £12k but that was because I had a health complication meaning I had to have extra care on the day. If I had not needed that extra care (which was just a precaution!) it would have cost me £8k. It has been utterly brilliant. The worst part was having to sleep upright for weeks but there was no real pain, and the results have been brilliant. Go for it!

Thanks everyone. I just got a ballpark figure from the surgeon I had in mind and it’s 22k 🤣🤣🤣 so he’s out.

I’d really like someone that comes recommended. Anyone know where I should start? I’m in Essex xxx

Lyndsey Highton in Manchester did mine about a year ago for about 8.5k including under arm liposuction. She has lots of patients who come from all over the country to see her. Have a look at her before and after pics on Instagram. She’s an incredibly talented surgeon and I highly recommend her. All her patient reviews are excellent 👌

Mine was at the spire hospital in harpendon. Not too far from Essex. Excellent surgeon
Dr Dickson

Christmasbear1 · 08/08/2025 02:41

@CherryogDog no, I didn't get it done

PittaParty · 08/08/2025 11:33

Is there bad scarring with a breast reduction?

HeBeaverandSheBeaver · 08/08/2025 16:57

Depends on the skill of the surgeon but mine are very good/fine and get commented on by the mammogram nurses. lol.

SchoolMum22 · 25/09/2025 20:08

I had one about 4 years ago and it was such a relief. There is some faded scarring as they had to move the nipple but can’t see anything in a bikini (yes can wear a bikini Noel’s)!!
I went to 3 docs and settled on Dr Lambe. He’s in Manchester but does all over. I stayed in an hotel over the road). He does a lot of celebs and I looked up reviews on Trustpilot and they are so good. He is very honest on the pros and cons so worth a consultation before you decide. Good luck x
