Eastbourne Airshow

Im planning on going and just standing, sitting on the beach.

Tickets for reserved seating are £30+ each. Has anyone been and know what the crowds are like?

It will be very busy on the beach but I really don't think it's worth paying £30 for a seat.
We normally go up on the downs by Holywell the view is great from up there.

Thinking of going the first day hoping Thursday might be quieter than the weekend.

I guess all you have to do is look up no matter how crowded it is. Viewing wont be obstructed.

The beach is huge. The closer you are to the central point where the stalls are by the Redout fort the busier it will be.

The biggest headache is the parking, once your there it's fine.

No parking we will go by train. Thanks for intel re the busy spots.

Went yesterday for a walk on the cliffs and "accidently" watched some of it, it was brilliant!

Especially the red arrows at the end ❤️

It's actually free, the beach, prom are huge, u can also watch from the cliffs.

You can also watch it live online for free from about 1.15 till 5pm. The weather is better today than yesterday so it should be incredible.
