Swimming socks/ socks for swimming

I really like swimming and I’m on a bit of a health kick at the moment.

However, I have a real aversion to having my bare feet on the floors in swimming places, including the changing room, pool side and pool. It makes me heave.

Other than verruca socks, are there other footwear options for swimming in? I’ve seen pool shoes/ socks or swim socks, but are they just for poolside rather than swimming in?

Hi op, water shoes like this are designed for both walking and swimming

I have some of these, and they are like a thick stretchy sock with a thin rubber sole. I wear them for regular sea and lake swimming, but they’d be absolutely fine in a pool too

I use swim socks and never had issues swiminh at all. I also have water shoes for the beach.
My dermatologist said not to walk barefoot on the sand as there are parisites in the sand that can burrow into your feet!!

Its best to check with the pool before you use anything other than verruca socks, some of them ban swim shoes.
