Are you getting a takeaway tonight?

Payday weekend and feeling flush but can’t decide what to have. Will either be Chinese and I’ll get duck pancakes and veg chow mein, kebab and I’ll have chicken shish on naan with all the salad and chilli sauce or pizza and we’ll get a pepperoni and a veggie hot to share.

We do usually but we’re being tight on money in order to have more spending money on holiday. I’m making a “fake” takeaway - curry and rice with naan

Yes most likely from the fab authentic American diner. We do have a weekly takeaway or eat out as a treat and try and chanhebot up a bit.

Not tonight but just had my parents up for a few days and we had a lovely Chinese takeaway on Thursday!

No, because nowhere in our entire town does anything even remotely close to good. This whole region is absolutely shit when it comes to food.

If I could I'd get a half crispy duck and pancakes.

Just had a McDs because we haven't been shopping yet. 4 large meals plus one McFlurry was the best part of fifty quid delivered. That'll teach me for being lazy and not doing the usual Friday night shop 😱

No but only because I’m pregnant and struggling to stomach most takeaways atm! I can’t wait until I can have Chinese again! 😭

Sadly it would mean a night of raging heartburn for me, so no. If I were, it would be an Indian - Chicken Palak with chapatis and mixed pakora 😍

Paradoes · 02/08/2025 19:34

No - airfryer pizza for kids and dh had his main (meat two veg dinner at 12.30 as manual work day) so I did sausage in rolls for him

Oblahdeeoblahdoe · 02/08/2025 19:37

Yes. Our usual Indian - chicken saag balti, pilau rice, poppadoms with a couple of beers 😉
