I'm the type of person who doesn't see a doctor till I'm hanging by a thread, I hate being the patient going in to see a doctor or nurse and it being nothing, but I think this may not be "nothing". If you've had these symptoms let me know

Upper stomach bloating/feels like it's burning after eating
Excessive burping
Nausea after eating
Filing up quick
Sharp few seconds pain right side kidney whenever I drink or eat (this has been ongoing for 4 weeks now)
And the new one is loosing 13lbs within a week even though I'm not dieting and have been eating quite bad with being recently on a family holiday.

Yes I'm going to ring the doctors on Monday because I'm done feeling like this, one minute I'm ok the next I feel so bad!, I know not everyone is a doctor and I'm not asking for diagnosis just a little insight so I can handle this better before I see the doctor because right my upper stomach feels so bloated and uncomfortable 😣.

Possibly gall bladder - have you been noticing it more after eating fatty / creamy foods ?

gamerchick · 01/08/2025 20:43

I thought gallbladder as well. Starts as the niggle and then eventually the pain in the shoulder blades amongst other things after eating fat.

Strawberrypie33 · 01/08/2025 20:44

So I've just had sausages and I'm feeling a lot worse than earlier when I just had noodles. It's like burning feeling at the moment occupied with nausea.

I had this and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Any woman suffering from bloating needs an urgent referral.

I read up on the NHS that it could potentially be gallbladder, it's niggling now (upper abdomen) I feel quite nauseous, I get a sudden sharp pain on my right side kidney

Were you nauseous? The bloating is upper abdomen and only ever feels like that after eating a big meal

I bet a large percentage of people who see their GP don’t need to. You have as much right to an appointment as the rest of us. I think you are overthinking this. Go to GP, you have nothing to lose, if it’s nothing, you’re reassured. If it needs treatment then you will have taken the first step to feeling better. Win win. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm a massive over thinker especially when it comes to health, I'll be ringing them on Monday even if it is nothing.

I felt sick, bloated, I had indigestion and felt full quickly when eating.
