Accidentally run out of Sertraline - what can I do?

i thought I had another blister pack but I’m out. I’ve put in a repeat prescription request but it’s Saturday tomorrow and I’m not sure what impact it will have for me to miss any tablets (though I’ll have to miss one tonight.) is there anything I can do if I go to my usual pharmacy tomorrow? Just wondering if anybody else has been in this position and has worked it out. Thank you!

Just go to your normal pharmacy explain and they can advance you some until new prescription is approved

Emergency prescription on 111 website

I would think you would be fine for a day or two if your pharmacy won’t give you an emergency supply. Mine has done so in the past.

Phone the NHS 111 line. You can get an emergency prescription that way.

My friend did this and asked her friends on Facebook. She was inundated. Maybe a last resort if you can’t get to the pharmacy?

I know its not ideal to stop immediately and hopefully you can get sorted but DD recently ran out and went 2 days without Sertraline and apart from feeling a bit tired she said she was ok and was able to start again with no issues
I am not recommending it if you can't get any it might not be a disaster

Nhs 111 online you can order emergency prescriptions to pick up from local pharmacy it gives you a list of your closest ones but dont worry if you miss a day if you've been on them a while their pretty built up in your system.

I was on holiday at my mums and accidentally ran out so I phoned 111 and they arranged an emergency prescription that I collected from the nearest Superdrug.
It was all sorted in minutes.

Go online to 111 emergency prescription. So simple to fill out and send the request to your preferred pharmacy. It doesn’t ask what you need so take any empty packaging or a copy of your records on your phone, although if it’s your regular pharmacy they will be able to see from their own records. Something standard like sertraline with a patient history will be no problem at all.
