Ripon hidden gems

Hello

We love visiting Ripon for a long weekend, but feel like we've done most of the obvious touristy type of things and wondered if anyone had any hidden gems they could recommend? Happy to drive up to 45 mins south or east.

Ripon scenic cruise on canal is fun

Fountains abbey

Crazy golf in spa garden

Lunch in Olivers Pantry is superb

Royal Oak pub for dinner

The 3 crime museums are great

The cathedral is free and don't miss the crypt

Newby hall and train ride is great but an all dayer.

Percival hall and gardens
Pateley bridge
Grassington
Bolton abbey and the Strid
Helmsley
Rievaulx abbey/Terrace
Jervaulx abbey
Love Hackfall and Druids temple, great little cafe at the campsite there (or there was a few year ago)
Masham for a mooch, love Johnny Baghdad’s on the square for some lovely Middle Eastern/Moroccan food.
