Root canal on front tooth

Hi, has anyone had a root canal on a bottom front tooth? Did you need to crown it? Did it discolour and how long has that tooth survived after the root canal? Thank you.

Top front tooth when I was 15, fell off a horse and broke my fall with my face!
I’m 51 now, it went slightly darker than its neighbours in my 30’s but been fine otherwise. No crown. Dentist says they could whiten it, but I’m reluctant to disturb it and upset it! I don't think anyone notices apart from me.
Still ride most weeks!

Bottom front tooth, must be over 20 years ago now. It was a long (and very expensive) process but the tooth is still there, holding on. No problem with it since. It's a darker colour and I've never had it capped.

Top front tooth, slightly discoloured, no cap or crown, 6 years so far!

My front tooth lasted 25 years before i had to have it out, discoloured a bit and i decided yo put a crown on it to make it nicer and.it started to give me trouble, have another that went dark after root canal but will leave this one dark as it is.

Thank you for all your replies. Whilst you were waiting to get the tooth done, did it feel like the pain was going into other teeth? Today the one that needs a root canal feels fine but one away from it has a sharp pain.
