I am feeling really lost and struggling to settle my anxieties about my future. Me and my partner are in our early 20’s. He’s just got an amazing new job in marketing, 27k starting wage and they encourage progression throughout the roles, all expenses paid business trips etc.
I am currently working two part time jobs and I am desperate to find a career.
I currently work with animals for one job, and the other in retail.
I love working with animals however it is perhaps not something I can imagine doing in the future. I dislike the weird working hours, and the inconsistencies in pay.
I definitely would not like to remain in a retail role for the rest of my life.
I enjoy psychology, I’d love to be a forensic psychologist however I have seen lots and lots about how it is virtually impossible, and even if I complete all the studying (bachelors, masters, doctorate), it is supposedly very hard to find a job.
I honestly just don’t know what I’d like to do, so I’m asking for your advice!
