Where do you think I put this item

Had an accident and got a replacement car. Last week I collected my car. I've mislaid the electronic buzzer for the security gate of our carpark. It's small.

Usually would have been in the car in a small container. If I bought it indoors it would/should have been in the key tray. My home is pretty tidy atm so am lost in what I've done with it.

Handbag? Coat/cardigan pocket? Work bag/lunch bag?

With something else that lives in the car that you've put somewhere safe to transfer to the new car?

in a bag you brought in from the boot.

Bingo! Thanks @GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut and others, this thread gave me the confidence to have another look. You know when you feel despondent and can't see the wood for the trees etc.
