New kettle

My kettle has packed it. I’m looking for one which has a non plastic jug , rapid boil and easy to fill and pour. Please give me your recommendations.
A matching toaster with high lift and wide slots would be a bonus!

What's your budget?

I could have written this exact post Lushvegetation, as both toaster and kettle need replaced really soon. So I'll be watching with interest!

We've had this a couple of years, seems to be serving us well.

The toaster however is more than I'd be willing to pay anytime soon for a toaster...!

I don’t really want to spend more than £50 on the kettle but will if it’s really worth it.

I prefer flip top lids really. However perhaps it’s just a question of getting used to a different lid.
