I’ve always wondered what happened to Portia in Elizabeth Bowen’s The Death of the Heart. Did Anna & Thomas’s marriage survive?
Also what happened to Roderick Lambert and Charlotte Mullen in The Real Charlotte.

Mine is a character from a children's book; Nicola Marlow from the Antonia Forrest books. She was who I wanted to be as a child/teen - well liked, very confident, sought after as a friend, an all-rounder - good academically, sang well, good at art, good at sport, could act. I would love to know where life took her!

I always wonder what Jinny at Finmory was like as an adult. Assume she would be an artist.
