A poster mentioned Sticky Toffee Pudding on another thread which prompted me to reply that I love it, especially with warm caramel sauce. Maybe a bit of good vanilla ice cream with it, too. 😛

Anyone else share this love?

Oh yes!!
I use the Nigella recipe, it's fabulous and very easy. I make it on a Sunday in Autumn/ Winter for dessert (don't live in uk and trying to give my kids some traditions!)
As part of my job I have a completely free community cafe open every wednesday, just for people to come and be around others, get a coffee and a cake etc. Nobody had ever heard of it here, so I made two pans of sticky toffee pudding and extra sauce for pouring. It went down a treat, all gone and was so lovely, warm and cosy on a cold snowy day.

It's not my favourite pudding UNLESS it is the Nigella recipe one. That is hands down, one of the best puddings ever. I can't seem to paste the link but it's on the BBC Food website

I love her STP recipe. I prefer with a whipped cream or vanilla ice cream rather than custard (but I'm not British and I missed the custard gene).
