What do you do in this situation

I’m currently incontinent due to pregnancy and previous issues. I can’t laugh hop jump cough sneeze or generally move with out leaking often full bladder of wee. Currently seeing a pelvic specialist but progress and solution is taking time. I also suffer with extremely severe heavy and long periods. I’ve found my incontinence pads don’t hold my periods and I leak everywhere but if I wear a period pad and wee I end up with wet pants and trousers. Is there a solution I have to pick between which issue is the worst that day and it’s stressful

Could you use a menstrual cup or tampon plus incontinence pads?

Have you spoken to a doctor about your periods? It might be worth looking at contraceptive options to stop them (like taking the pill back to back) until you can get the incontinence sorted, or tranexamic acid to reduce the heaviness.

I’ve had surgery for my periods and with specialist but nothing can be done they tried me on the depo injection before I was pregnant but it made me have month long periods. I’m also trying for baby no2 at the moment. I can’t wear tampons or cups due to pain down below which is a shame although I used to be so heavy even with a extra absorbing tampon I leak

No advice, just empathy- hope you find some good solutions. I think I would try pads + period knickers and keep kicking off to my GP.
