'Next' returns, am I being daft or...

Just opened a next account. Had some coats delivered today to try and non fit like i wanted.

Tried to click return, but non of those items are available to 'tick' just some clothes I ordered last week for DS.

So I clicked the 'items not here button' and it said collectikn arranged.

I can't see a returns label in the packaging so i printed one out

But how do they know its a return from me?? I have nothing to put in the bag?

I was going to write my order number on a piece of paper but I can not see one of those either?! On my email.

Am I missing something?

The bar codes on the clear plastic packaging are unique to you - AND THE ONES ON THE LABEL. I know. We're living in the future. I know because I asked a staff member the same question.

If you went instore to return, a lot of them have automated returns boxes. You just scan the barcode on the label and your name comes up to register the return. I think it's really cool but I'm obviously easily pleased

The closet store is like a 30 min drive and in a very busy shopping centre so I realy can't be arsed on this occasion but that is good to know, thank you!

Next returns are amazing. I once took a jumper back that had a fault and I was looking in my bag for the receipt and the lady told me that there was no need. She scanned it, told me when I had bought it, checked my name and put the money back on my card in under ten seconds.

I just take it back to the shop. It's pretty easy.

Yeah i take back to the shop too. These last few years i am finally able to walk in with my return actually believing they won't ask me for ID, a bank card, my account details and address and a receipt 🤣

Just the thing in its grey bag with the address label still on it. They barely even look in the bag at our store and yes, a text message to say thanks for bringing it back arrives before i get back to the car and then the money is back in my account within a couple of hours max.

It's a complete trek to return to store for me.
Thats why I order online

Next really is the best.

You can see why it's bucking the tend as a successful high st brand.

Not only are they great at returns, they have petite and longer lengths in a huge number of lines.

The next day delivery is ace too

The unique barcode works for sending it back too. I just meant to explain you don't need to add anything to the bag. Just send it as is.
