Travelling by train from London .
Trains not running between New St and Sutton Coldfield .
Bus replacement service .
Hosp web site suggests these normal bus numbers

  • 71
  • 76
  • 78A (This service will now also terminate at The Queslett to improve reliability)
  • 110
  • X4
  • X14
Can anyone help me work out easiest route ,one close to New St and which stops near hospital ?I'm aiming for Sheldon block/wing. Perhaps the rail replacement service is best ,but normal buses might stop nearer hospital .Bus replacement seems to take about same time as normal bus ie 45mins. Any help much appreciated .

If the bus replacement goes to Sutton bus station, it's no more than 10 minutes walk to Good Hope.

X14 looks like direct to Good Hope

oh ,thank you so much @Cantthinkofadifferentname .

I think I'll look at the X14 ,I'll have luggage and also a propensity to get lost .Even on a 10 min walk!
