Hi, I’m off to Copenhagen, in November, with DS (22) and I want to book a nice hotel in the heart of everything. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks.

We stayed at the Copenhagen strand. Lovely hotel. Breakfast phenomenal. 5 min walk from canal in nyhavn. Had a brilliant time there.

We stayed in the Admiral. Right on the water, lovely building.

Thanks @MissJeanBrodiesmother, I’ll look at it.

We stayed at the Absalon hotel. Short walk to the main train station and tivoli. Lovely hotel.

Thanks @MikeWozniaksMohawk and @purplepie1, on my list!

Just on this, if Tivoli was in the itinerary, its closed from Nov 1-14 whilst they switch it from Halloween to Christmas!

I live in CPH and have had friends stay at

  • Hotel Axel
  • Manon les suites (pricey but gorgeous!)
  • WIDE
  • Copenhagen Strand
  • Admiral

These are all the ones that have been loved...I'll leave out the never to return too 😃

Have a great time! November is lovey here, generally not to wet yet and lots of Christmas buzz

I’ve stayed at the Absalon twice, really enjoyed it there and close to the train station and Tivoli.

Thank you @IHopeYouStepOnALegPiece! That’s great info.

If you're coming after Nov 11 (and you drink!) then you should go to Hviids Vinstue for traditional gløgg (you'll be able to get it in loads of places but this one is famous for traditional gløgg)

Also, book a table at Told&Snaps for Smorrebrod - its at Nyhavn and is really nice to wander around in the winter after some Smorrebrod!

May I suggest you don't drink TOO much gløgg because you'll get hideously drunk, painfully hungover and it will take you 3 years to face it again. I've heard....wouldnt know personally 👀
