Mens alternative to eternity ring

Just thinking out loud really. I've been thinking I'd like to get an eternity ring when we get to our 10th anniversary. If you have one, did your DH get one, or some alternative thing? I don't think (but could be wrong) that's it's really a "thing" for men, which seems a bit of a shame as I'd like DH to also have a nice treat too!

Nice watch - engraved.

Eternity rings were invented as an advertising campaign-so no need to be constrained by the diamond thing. Tin is traditional……🤣

This is what I was thinking too! Or if he has a job that requires them then maybe a nice set or engraved cuff links!

The watch is a good idea, except he already has one he really likes... its not fancy though, i bought it for him when we were dating and he still wears it (romantic sod). But maybe a nicer one would be an idea. Sadly he doesn't wear double cuff shirts anymore so would never wear cufflinks.

Oh, I'm not getting a diamond haha, I'm actually hoping to find an independent who will make one to fit around my wedding ring and make a bespoke set 😊 Although no shade on people who like diamonds of course! I do have a more traditional eternity ring that I inherited and wear just as a ring, so that more traditional style doesn't associate with my DH if that makes sense

Would your DH wear a ring, that compliments your eternity ring?
I've also seen men wearing plain bangle style bracelets that can be engraved to reflect a special occasion.
And then there are some men who prefer nice looking chains.
A friend of mine always wears her chain and her DH'S chain is exactly the same but the links are heavier.
Watches are traditional but a lot of young men won't wear them today as their phones are always nearby.
Cufflinks are great too if your dress code dictates that you wear them enough to enjoy them and get some use out of them.

So DH already wears a wedding band, and im not sure if he'd actually get on with a second as his is a fairly wide ring already. He would never wear a necklace/chain, maybe a bracelet but I doubt it.... he's not really a jewelry person, except his wedding band and watch. I think maybe a really nice watch might be an option, I guess it doesn't have to be an every day item like an eternity ring would be...

Nice watch - engraved.

This is what i bought my husband, he wouldn't wear another ring.

For our 25th I got DH a key ring - a solid silver disc engraved with a line from 'our song'.

Gave my husband a signet ring for our 25th.

Earring?

Pippa99999 · 25/07/2025 17:33

Engraved MontBlanc pen?

EnterFunnyNameHere · 25/07/2025 17:34

Im not sure he'd wear a second ring, definitely not an earing....

Do you get narrow nice rings for men, to wear alongside an existing ring i wonder!

Great suggestion!
I love the idea of a line from a favourite song engraved on it, especially for those DHs that are not so much into jewellery wearing.
