Thermal printer?

I have left my job so no longer have access to a printer. I rarely print but need something at home to use with my MacBook Air. Is a thermal printer a good thing? I like the idea of no ink, and they’re nice and small.

They're surprisingly fine, as long as you don't mind needing the thermal paper. Go for sheet not roll :)

Far less pain than an inkjet, and much tinier than a laser.

That’s encouraging. So you need special paper?
