All shaker bottles seem to have the same essential design: a screw-on lid with a flip top to drink or pour from. I find that the push-up lip of the flip top breaks. It could be that the bottles I buy are too cheap - but then I don't want to spend a lot on a bottle I have to replace frequently. I use these bottles for mixing lots of things, and I often keep them in the fridge and use them as dispensers, so I definitely need a sealable pourer. Unscrewing the entire lid always leaves a mess when I put it back.
Can anyone recommend a mixer bottle that will actually last?
I prefer the style which has a grid insert at the top, rather than a loose piece inside, to help break up powder when shaken.
