How exactly does someone swap driving test bookings?

If my sister had a driving test for an earlier date, but for whatever reason she did not want to take her test on such an early date and I was ready with my own test for a later date, how exactly could we swap if we both wanted that?

Apparently, you are allowed to do this by contacting the DVSA; but what exactly happens? So, can one person just phone the DVSA with both people's driving license details and names and then swap them around or would they require some sort of proof from each person?

One person can do it but you need the theory test number, provisional licence numbers, dates and exact times of both tests. And they both have to be on a weekday or they both have to be weekend days.

Yes, but don't they do extra checks for like fraud since someone could be swapping someone else's test after having obtained their details without their permission? Or, do they not do that? I just need to know whether like they would phone my sister as well or I could just contact them on behalf of us both?

If you give someone else that level of detail about your driving test you should expect it to be swapped without your consent and you may not be able to drive when your wedding to the Nigerian prince comes round.
