Bodium and Tenterden Railway.

We're hoping to do this Saturday but not from the area.

If we buy a general day ticket is there likely to be seats. Does a specific timed return ticket guarantee seats... Or is it first come first serve...

And is there much there. Should we get there early?

Hoping to spend a few hours at Bodium and come back.

But any suggestions welcome 😁

Hi i live nearby, if there isn't a specific event on which I don't think there is this weekend then the trains are never full you will be fine for seats. What are you hoping to do in Bodium visit the castle?

Yes! Castle... Should we allow some time for bodium too? We've got the whole day so could pootle around Bodium or Tenterden?

You'll need to allow some time for Bodium as it's about a 10-15 min walk from the station, the castle grounds are nice to walk around and the tearoom is good.
