Urine tests - is it just me?

I’m at the hospital for a special blood test, they asked me for a urine sample, gave me a little sample
tube thing. Is it just me, or are these things completely impractical? I can’t bloody see (fat middleaged woman) wee goes everywhere bar the tube and then I have to awkwardly wrap it in tissue so I don’t hand a soggy tube thing to the nurse. Surely there should be some sort of funnel for women. I’ve just been sent back to drink water and try again. I’m going to bring the bloody cup in with me…

They usually give you a little urine catcher made of grey cardboard so you can wee in that and pour it in the bottle.

I wish they had… Will remember that next time

I was given a funnel at the hospital last week that fit in the top of the sample bottle.

We give our patients a grey cardboard container to wee into then pour into the tube.

Our local hospital doesnt give out the grey cardboard thing when I went to another hospital and was giving one i was so confused I had to ask what it was for 🙈 but yeah the tubes are tiny
