I found audible maybe approx the year before last. I found a book that I really enjoyed and I loved the audio of it because I played it in the background while I was working on my hobby.

Since then I never really found another book that I really liked and enjoyed.

I was still paying monthly for books.

I tried to cancel it last winter but I found out that if canceled I would lose all the unused credits.

I paused it and the pausing option is only for a few months.

I just saw another charge on my account from audible.

Now I don't know what to do.

I don't use it very often to keep paying this.

However I am interested in two or three more books now too.

However due to work and study street and it's intense it will likely be September or October by the time I will even have the time to really get back into.

So what am I supposed to do now?

I am paying monthly for something I am not really using. I would love to cancel it but still be allowed to use the credits I have.

Or if there's any option to transfer credits from one person to another I think that would be good too.

You could just download what you want and then they stay in your library even after you cancel! That’s what I did!

Look to see if your local library has BorrowBox or something similar as you can loan audiobooks for free!!

I think you should use all your existing credits to buy and download books to listen to in the future, then cancel your membership. You’ll still be able to listen to the books you bought with your credits once your membership is cancelled.

Have you checked whether the author of the book you liked has any other books? What kind of book was it?

Yes, that’s what I did, downloaded about 12 books with my credits then cancelled. Will last me for years!

I can't believe there aren't other books you will like there are a lot to choose from.

I never like the recommended ones that come up - all written by celebs etc but you can search via author or title.
