Restaurant recommendations for Bath

We’re getting married at the Guildhall in Bath in November and would like to go for a lovely lunch afterwards with 16 of our family.

Can anyone recommend any good restaurants? Would love to hear about hidden gems!

The Ivy is an obvious choice but there are several really lovely local restaurants, pointe vechio (close to guildhall, by river) or soto soto or san remo are all Italians, there is a new fish place opposite I’ve heard great things about, a couple of Greek restaurants…if you want a hotel dinner the Francis has really lovely atmosphere/service/food, or somewhere like the abbey hotel will have a private dining room…

The Botanist is nice, you can see what it looks like on First Dates on C4, although Fred isn’t usually there!
