In the past couple of days, there has been various posts about a man abusing his position of power in the Deaf Community. Using his position to exploit and SA young boys.
One man has come forward and explained his situation and it has led to more and more men coming forward.
I’m in despair at this, and so full of admiration for them coming forward, but i’m just concerned that they’re not accessing the right avenues to raise this. Some of the abuse is historical. Is there a specific place or service they can use to report this predator to the police? Or do they go directly to the police?
They deserve justice for themselves. At the last count they are saying that 20
people have come forward with the same allegations.
