Good bedside lamp for reading?

My DH finds our current lamps too dim. Can anyone recommend good ones, if they look good that's a bonus! I don't like a desk lamp as a bedside lamp though

Would changing the bulb help? ( I know that sounds silly!)

No it's a good idea! I want new ones because they don't match, but might see what bulb is in his one

I got a cheap smart bulb from Amazon and it’s so good I can have it on any % brightness and colour! I operate it with apple iPhone and Siri. It was 5.99

Yeah swapping the bulb is step one, some “cute” lamps ship with weak bulbs and it makes them feel useless. I use a Sunmory table lamp next to my bed and it’s fine for reading once the bulb is decent. If you want it bright but still cozy, go warm white and higher lumens, and a shade that points light down instead of glowing the whole room.
