10th Gen iPAD - quick query

Hi!

Dd has saved money and is looking at buying an iPad - she has a phone that we bought her. This is mainly to watch shows/movies and she will buy a keyboard and use it for some school work potentially.

Is it still worthwhile to buy a 10th generation?

Just to add she can use the family laptop if needed for school but could use the iPad for some basic homework / searches etc

I see her using it more for watching shows etc.
