Twins

I have b/g twins. They are set to start a small one form entry school and I’m sure they would be fine for a couple of years but I am wondering if I should move them to a bigger school now so that they have the chance to be in separate classes as they get older.

I’ve got ID twins and really struggled making a decision on this one, single form entry was our nearest. I kept them together in the end, for logistics more than anything else but they were also micro preemie and technically still 3 when they started. They were heavily but equally dependent on each other. It was the right thing for us.

they developed and grew out of the interdependency, are now just finishing y10 obviously split across all sorts of different classes.

my council’s policy now is to separate in yR if possible.

I have boy/girl twins and even they are in a 2 form entry I have chosen for them to stay together. I think it’s different for boy/girl twins as I don’t think they have the co dependency that often comes when you have identical. Mine have very different interests and friendship groups
