Hi there. I’m going to see Oasis in September at Wembley with DD 12. Please can you advise the best website for parking and any other things I might need to know? Thank you in advance!

The website is here op. www.wembleyofficialparking.com/

Would you consider parking away from Wembley and getting the train in? That's what we do when we go.

Rocknrollstar · 19/07/2025 14:28

I wouldn’t drive there. It will take hour to get out. Much better to park on the tube line and take the train. It’s also very expensive.

It look me an hour to get from the stadium and onto a train at Wembley Park when I was there recently. I wouldn’t fancy being rammed into Wembley Way (or whatever it’s called these days) with a load of beered-up Oasis fans.

My DH used Blue Parking, for when Tottenham had their matches there, they are about 5 minutes away, it’s the car park for a firm, very reliable, it’s a 10 minute walk away, but may already be full.

Thank you. I thought of the train but not sure if it will be too late. I guess that’s my next job! Coming from the West Midlands but could also look into staying somewhere as well.

DD and I went to Wembley for a concert recently - we stayed in Watford (easily accessible from the West Midlands on the train too) and got the train from Watford to Wembley Central, which is about 25 mins. From there it’s about a 15 min walk to the stadium, depending on which entrance you are.

Or if you weren’t intending to stay, just drive home from Watford. Our hotel was under £100 vs nearly £300 closer to Wembley.

It will be carnage coming out whatever you do, but they manage the queues for the trains pretty well (and there are other stations at Wembley too, so it’s not everyone piling to one station) - it probably took us about an hour to get from seat to train. I 100% wouldn’t park.

Park at Stanmore and take the Jubilee to Wembley. It’s about 8.50 for a days parking there. It’s going to be busy there as lots of people park there so I’d go early and go into central london or just a pub near Wembley!

Snowdrop219 · 19/07/2025 16:36

We used the ‘park on drive’ app which was brilliant for FA Cup. We were easily away from all the traffic. The queues for public transport were horrific!!

MissRainbowBrite · 19/07/2025 16:55

Use Just Park and park at either Stanmore or Canons Park. You’ll pay about £10 for the day and the Jubilee Line will take you straight to Wembley. It’s so easy to do and from there you will be back on the motorway in minutes.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 19/07/2025 17:20

Thank you all. Parking and getting the tube sounds like best idea!

Can you book a Premier Inn or air b&b for the night or something nearby and park there? Mini cab or walk to/from accommodation and go home next day. (sorry if daft idea)

Park at High Wycombe station (you can prebook and there's a decent amount of spaces). Direct train into Wembley Stadium Station (the station at the top, you don't have to walk down Wembley Way). Trains every half hour or so and take about 25-45 mins depending which one you get on. Easy to get back on M40 and head home 😀

SoVeryTired91 · 22/07/2025 20:50

Be aware that you'll be just inside the emissions zone. We were too busy trying to be in the right lane to see the sign, it's £180 fine if you don't pay.

Getting away was fine actually but we did leg it right at the end, you know you're getting old when you do that.

Leedsmum27 · 22/07/2025 20:55

We’ve used the just park app. You can book a driveway and for a small walk you can avoid all the car park traffic and get away much quicker

Leedsmum27 · 22/07/2025 20:56

Stanmore also a good suggestion but book a parking space in advance

SpringCalling · 22/07/2025 21:11

i use just park too, park in driveways nearby and walk in

TheMeasure · 22/07/2025 21:27

Another vote for Just Park or Park my drive or similar. We did it for Taylor Swift last summer Queues just to get in the tube station were well over an hour. We walked for 15 mins (through grid-locked traffic) and got to our car in a quiet neighbourhood and sped away home.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 26/07/2025 19:44

Thank you everyone. I’ve rented a parking space 20 minutes walk away.
