Can anyone give me a 'Fuck you, Neil'?

I sent some info out on Monday to some shareholders in my job. I sent an update to the information out today.

A Neil, who I have never had any interaction with, but who is a senior shareholder replied...

Thanks Ramsay, would have been good to know that on Monday and everyone agrees.

He copied in everone. It's more than my job is worth to respond...but a FU would be much appreciated.

And share any work frustrations...I'll be on your side.

Neil obviously had many issues not least a teeny tiny dick.
Next time you send info out maybe state “Latest information updated today”. Ergo you couldn’t update before you had it, even Kneel can’t argue with that.
Fuck off Kneale

TweedleDumbAndTweedleDeeeeeeeee · 18/07/2025 21:02

Neil, you’re a diamond. No, I meant to write dickhead. Neil, you’re a dickhead!

RainbowZebraWarrior · 18/07/2025 21:02

Yep. Fuck you, Neil. What a prick!

I had to change schools for DD due to her not getting any support (Autistic) in February. Went through tribunal etc. Asked for her books from old school in Feb in person before she left. Went to the Spring fair in April and asked in person again. Emailed in May. Emailed in June, "Oh. So sorry, it's sports day. We will sort it tomorrow. Emailed last week and gave a weeks notice that I'd be going in yesterday to collect them at 3pm. Reply was "Absolutely. We will coordinate this for you" Went yesterday and of course nobody knew anything about any books. Emailed again when I got home saying how upset and disappointed DD was. No reply today of course and schools now closed for summer. It really confirms why we left in the first fucking place.

MelliC · 18/07/2025 21:06

I would say "Agreed, Neil and if any further information becomes available I'll make sure everyone has it as soon as possible"

Nchangeo · 18/07/2025 21:07

Or.

Reply all, very politely, but misspell his name.

Neal or Neale.

Or “Nelly” & blame the autocorrect

What about:

Neil

Thanks for your email - yes agreed!

KR

isitme111 · 18/07/2025 21:12

I would reply - Hi Neale - yes, I agree as well

Sunshineismyfavourite · 18/07/2025 21:13

A no blame culture unless your name is Neil. In which case you can just do what you like and be the twat that you are.

Covidcabana · 18/07/2025 21:14

Oh fuck you, Neil!

And fuck all the Neil's.

GiraffesAtThePark · 18/07/2025 21:17

I don’t see anything wrong with the simple factual replies. Surely you’re just making him aware it was just available later.

RamsaySnowsSausage · 18/07/2025 19:44

I would love this...and honestly, we could have known Monday but the 3 levels above me were all on leave so I did as told and then have to take the blame for an update. And I will because I bought into this 'no-blame' culture. Only applies to certain grades it seems!

I hate to say this, but it sounds as if Niall has a point. Not that it's your fault, but that you organisation could have known on Monday but didn't because the people who should have known were all on holiday at the same time. If this was a significant issue then it does need to be fed back to the senior people, because they have fucked up. Neale may not know whose fault it is that the information wasn't available as early as it should have been and he's addressed his criticism at you because, as far as he is concerned, you are the relevant point of contact

Namechangerage · 18/07/2025 21:18

Hi Kneel,

The information was shared as soon as it became available. Thanks for the feedback, I will pass it on.

Kind regards fuckwit,

Autumn38 · 18/07/2025 19:55

Hi Neil,

I will pass your feedback on.

Kind Regards …

This is perfection.

RentalWoesNotFun · 18/07/2025 21:19

I think Neil is having a dig at your managers not you ie why the hell were all the managers off the same week, delaying information that we all required, someone should have been on duty in a position of authority to crack on with approving the info for circulation.

Hes wanting your management to note his displeasure. Are they on copy? If not I’d be speaking to my manager snd bringing it to her attention in case something needs to be done next time there are holidays to ensure cover.

peter capaldi what GIF

He's coming for you.

MrsTerryPratchett · 18/07/2025 20:18

And me. That’s scary.

Fuck all the Neils.

And me.
My first boyfriend couldn’t help being called Neil/Kneel/Neal/Kneighul, nor could he help having acne and greasy hair and being two inches shorter than me. But he chose to wear a lilac and mustard striped suit to the Lower Fifth dance, and he chose to be a patronizing shit and pretend I wasn’t cleverer than him.

In my defence, I was 15 and I upped my game from then on. No more Neils.

FairlyOddmother · 18/07/2025 21:20

The best one word reply to shit like this:
'Noted'

Namechangerage · 18/07/2025 21:21

Also, does anyone else feel that “Kind regards” is now equal to “fuck you”?

At my place it’s only ever “Best wishes”, “Many thanks” or “Warm regards”. “Kind regards” and I’d think “ooh!”

Was justabout to say this! If it's information relating to shares, time is of the essence. No excuse to have the three seniors off at once.

I very much doubt we are talking about publicly traded stock….

DuckbilledSplatterPuff · 18/07/2025 21:25

Fuck you Neil.
The extra information was sent to you as soon as it became available. I'm glad you found it useful. And fuck you again Neil.
